This results in faster exhaust speeds for improved exhaust scavenging, and reduced underhood temperatures.</p><p>These MID-LENGTH TUBE headers are designed specifically for installing a Small Block Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) engine into a 1987-1995 Wrangler (YJ). The smooth 1-1/2 in. tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your Wrangler's transplanted 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and significantly improve torque over factory manifolds.</p><p>Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts.
